Community Health Improvement in Action Invites You to Join its Google Group

Looking to discuss community health improvement plans and processes (CHIPP) best practices with your peers across Wisconsin?  Community Health Improvement in Action (CHIA) has just launched a Google Group as part of its Community of Practice. The online forum/listserv is one of several CHIA activities that aim to deepen knowledge and expertise in implementing and evaluating community health improvement strategies, with an emphasis on policy, systems, and environmental changes that address unhealthy and risky alcohol use in Wisconsin communities. In addition to the Google Group, the CHIA Community of Practice will meet in-person via expert-facilitated training and statewide summits, and electronically via webinars and conference calls.

Over 50 members have joined the CHIA Google Group since its launch on January 23, 2015. Current discussion topics include leadership and facilitation of CHIPP, presenting data effectively, and improving the alcohol environment at local festivals and events.

CHIA Google Group members can use their current email to view posts, start new conversations, and reply to others.  For those who would like to use the online interface (optional), a Google/Gmail account is needed and can be obtained free of charge.

To join the CHIA Google Group, or for more information about CHIA, please contact Sara Jesse at or Request Membership Directly.
