County Health Rankings & Roadmaps - Two Opportunities!

County Health Rankings & Roadmaps (CHR&R) and the National Association of Counties (NACo) are excited to announce the Rural Impact County Challenge (RICC) Action Learning Cohort

This is an opportunity for rural county members to join a national cohort focused on affordable housing to improve health and equity. Participation is available at no cost. Teams of 3-5 members who can commit to the timeline below are encouraged to apply.  

RICC Action Learning Cohort activities will take place from September 2019-August 2020 and include:

  • Developing connections with affordable housing and health and equity practitioners.
  • Exploring new tools and resources to advance actions that contribute to better health.
  • Evaluating strategies to improve housing, the built environment and health.
  • Formulating a plan for continued peer-sharing and support.
  • Supported trips for 1-2 people to two in-person gatherings (see application for dates and location).

Application deadline: Thursday, August 15, 2019.

Rural Economic Development Peer Learning Series

CHR&R is offering a Peer-to-Peer Learning Series for practitioners to directly connect with and seek guidance from others around the country in a video-conference format at no cost.

When: August 15, 2019 and August 29, 2019 at 3:00-4:15 p.m. EST

Space is limited and participation in both sessions is strongly encouraged.
