The Wisconsin Alcohol Policy Seminar Opens with Michael Sparks on Alcohol Outlet Density

Where does alcohol misuse or excessive alcohol use appear in your community health assessment?  In many, if not most Community Health assessments, excessive drinking is a top priority.   Learn the evidence-based policies and practices that can help reduce excessive alcohol use and the problems that result from it at the Wisconsin Alcohol Policy Seminar, October 10, at Kalahari in Wisconsin Dells.

This one-day session provides sessions on the policies and practices that reduce excessive drinking and are possible in Wisconsin.  The opening session will feature author and consultant Michael Sparks, co-author of Regulating Alcohol Outlet Density:  An Action Guide published by CADCA.   Attendees can select from 16 workshops during the day on topics including, Click & Collect alcohol sales, OWI courts, detecting patterns of over-serving from OWI records and beer gardens in public parks.

Online registration opens on August 15.  More information and a complete schedule of all sessions is available on http://bit.ly/2018AlcoholPolicy
