Storytelling to Promote Health
“Stories have a transformative power to allow us to see the world in a different way than we do if we just encounter it on our own. Stories are an entry point to understanding a different experience of the world.”
-Clare Patey, The Empathy Museum

Storytelling is humankind’s oldest form of teaching and motivating change. The ability to craft and apply messages to unique and differing life situations and audiences is a valuable tool in public health messaging and health promotion. Join us for a 2-part series as we elevate the science of storytelling and learn together about an evidence-based program utilizing storytelling to impact mental health stigma and norms.
