Support National Child's Health Day - October 2nd!

Tuesday, August 29, 2017

In 1928, Congress created National Child Health Day to unite all people and organizations to develop and protect the health of children across the United States. Since then, the first Monday in October has been recognized as National Child Health Day. This year National Child Health Day will be on Monday, Oct. 2. In honor of this special day Children’s Health Alliance of Wisconsin (Alliance) is taking to social media to celebrate and raise awareness. Consider joining your voice with ours in support of child health.

The Alliance will be providing message bubble photo props with the message “I’m #ForKidsHealth.” You can demonstrate your commitment to child health by taking a photo with the message bubble and posting to social media with the hashtag #ForKidsHealth on Oct. 2. Then, follow the hashtag throughout the day as organizations and individuals come together in support of child health.

If you are interested in celebrating National Child Health Day and would like to receive a #ForKidsHealth message bubble, please fill out this survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/ForKidsHealth. Please share this information and link with your organization and others.

The Alliance has a limited supply of message bubbles. Sign up today. Message bubbles will be sent to the address provided prior to Oct. 2. If you have any questions, please contact Caroline Heckler at checkler@chw.org

We look forward to celebrating National Child Health Day with you and other child health advocates!
