Each year, the Wisconsin Public Health Association (WPHA) holds an annual conference where members come together to discuss emerging public health issues, learn about successful local and state initiatives, and build a statewide network of public health professionals.  This year the conference was held in the Wisconsin Dells with record attendance of over 450 professionals.

This is the THIRD Annual Charitable Event that benefits a local community organization. The Maternal and Child Health Section took the lead and promoted early literacy by collecting hundreds of books for the Tri-County Nurse Family Partnership in Adams, Juneau and Sauk County. the WPHA Retired Professional Section led a charitable event as part of the conference.  This event is designed to benefit an organization located within the region where the Annual Conference is held and promote local public health efforts.

WPHA members from all over the state contributed generously, further supporting WPHA’s commitment to serving the public and promoting health and wellness for all Wisconsin residents.
