Presentation Objectives:

  • Understand the key features of Healthiest Wisconsin 2020.
  • Use Healthiest Wisconsin 2020 tools to align partners collective action to improve and protect the health of people and communities where we live, grow, work, learn and play.
  • Learn about how the Bayfield Health Department, the Ashland Health Departments and Memorial Medical Center Ashland are partnering to develop their community health improvement plan and using Healthiest Wisconsin as a guidance document.
  • Describe how the natural capabilities of public health nurses can make community health improvement a tangible reality for individuals, families and communities.
  • Acknowledge that strong leadership capabilities are needed from all state and local governmental professionals – a foundational asset to Healthiest Wisconsin 2020.
