Ask a Professional

Countless times a day, public health professionals across Wisconsin can be seen with wrinkled brows, struggling over challenges.  Sometimes those challenges are public (e.g., layoffs, budget cuts, funding streams ending).  Sometimes those challenges are more personal (e.g., disagreements with supervisor, employee morale, ethical dilemmas). 

 In mainstream life, individuals have recourse for those personal matters:  Dear Abby, the stalwart provider of down-to-earth advice and salt-of-the-earth perspective.  Now, Wisconsin public health professionals have their own “Dear Abby” of sorts. 

 This section of the webpage provides the opportunity for public health professionals to anonymously submit a question, challenge, or issue.  The submission will be reviewed and responded to within 72 hours by a leader in the public health arena.  The submission and the response will then be posted online to benefit others who may have a similar situation.
